Do You Have “X” Factor?
As a partner for my clients, part of my role is to identify the best talent in the market. I hunt for talent who are exceeding targets and who have the intangible qualities which set them apart from others. The best of the best.
This week I asked some of my clients what they considered the qualities of “X Factor” employees. Here’s a few:
X Factor people exceed expectations with their results. They focus on outcomes and not job descriptions. They are accountable and take pride their work. X Factor people get sh!t done.
X Factor people are self-aware and don’t let their emotions negatively impact on others. They are positive and possess an innate ability to build rapport.
X Factor people stand up when times are tough. They’re resilient and understand that challenges in life are an opportunity to learn and grow. They know that experience is just that – whatever form it may take.
X Factor people are on time and are always prepared. They’re agile and make good decisions. X Factor people do what’s right. They do what they say they’re going to do and their integrity is never doubted.
X Factor people are authentic. They’re confident but not arrogant. X Factor people are great listeners and are genuinely interested in helping others.
X Factor people are AWESOME!
